2023 - I became a father and started my second startup.
Here is what I learned:
Social pressure is real.
You hear it from friends, colleagues ..
“You can’t just leave your full-time job while expecting a baby.”
“What about paternal leave?”
“What about financial stability?”
I threw it all away and started chasing my dreams.
Dreams of having an impact on people around me.
And it is in 2023 that I was fully persuaded.
None of these pressures matter.
As long as you’re finding fulfillment and dedication.
And being a father is a guiding light.
2023 was also full of startup lessons.
When I started Kaisdaq, I wanted to build everything from scratch!
But I was wrong.
I invested so much time on things that weren’t our core value like a marketing platform.
This hard-learned lesson benefited my second startup, 2FST.CO
Using HubSpot have been a truly enabler for us. It helped us go from 0 to 1.
The thing is - as a founder you need to invest your time on maximizing ROI.
In 2023, we started having our first paying customers.
My goal was to help them get an amazing experience.
Trust, integrity and customer satisfaction are leading indicators of a company’s success.
Revenue and profit are lagging indicators.
So I invested time and energy building our customer satisfaction foundations.
And we’ve had some amazing and happy customers along the way.
In 2024, we’ll continue our journey.
We’ll continue to learn and adapt.
And building what our customers are thirsty for.
That’s the most important aspects while scaling a startup.
