The 11TEN team continued our annual tradition of participating in the Purple Stride Atlanta Walk 2024 to end pancreatic cancer and to honor our late Co-Founder Kevin O'Connor. United with hundreds of individuals from across Georgia, we've proudly raised over $315,000! Pancreatic cancer is the third leading cause of cancer-related deaths in the United States with a 5-year survival rate of just 10%. But there's hope on the horizon – advancements in life sciences have ushered in a new era of targeted therapies and personalized medicine, significantly enhancing the outlook for patients. Groundbreaking treatments and early detection strategies are at the forefront, aiming to shift the narrative of pancreatic cancer towards survival and recovery.   11TEN is committed to this cause and would like to thank everyone who participated in and donated to this event. Forty health professionals, clinicians and journalists from France and Belgium attended a March 8 presentation and tour of Winship Cancer Institute at Emory Midtown. The group toured several key areas of Winship at Emory Midtown to learn about the unique and innovative ways that technology is utilized and leveraged throughout the 17-story cancer care center to provide patients the most effective cancer care and the best possible experience.
