Beyond communication, one needs to determine patentability and how best to gain a competitive position which may include additional cursory work to expand scope, etc. Lastly, companies must realize this is not a one and done process, such that follow-up over a few years is not uncommon.

By evaluating in detail the supply/value chain from raw materials to finished product sale, one can see the critical steps/paths that must occur and in turn consider patenting to protect and leverage.

In my opinion, not having the collaboration between all team members, all company’s division will lead to a complete failure of the business. All division and all members must collar together and move on the same direction to achieve company’s goal. A harmony must be created from the top management to help all divisions to collaborate together or otherwise if one division is not moving in the same direction, it means nothing can be achieved at all and rather will create the backlog of the entire company

Leadership needs to ensure alignment of their "patent culture" with clearly stated business goals or they will create a lot of expense and burden with no results.

The advisory board can be internal or external ti the company.
