I agree that plans should be put in place proactively. While it's great to jump into new projects with enthusiasm, it's easier on the whole group to work through potential kinks in advance. Our work requires emotion, so it's not always possible to stay completely neutral after a long rehearsal or late gig. On that note, I think it also helps to be mindful of the industry-specific challenges and make an effort to create a calm, organized environment whenever it is under our control.

Ah, the good old clash of egos—a classic in band life! All of these points are excellent. I'd add that the key is open communication, respect, and, like a healthy marriage, a little bit of compromise. Listen actively- Really try to understand your bandmates' perspectives, even if you disagree. Share your own views- Express your thoughts calmly and constructively, avoiding personal attacks. Find common ground- Look for points you can all agree on and build from there. Compromise- Hard as it can be, be willing to adjust your ideas and find a middle ground that works for everyone.
