I would encourage anyone receiving conflicting feedback not to take themselves or the feedback so seriously that they allow it to affect their confidence in their ability to provide effective peer support. I like getting feedback that helps me improve my craft, but I have a tendency to be overly self critical, so it is imperative that I keep feedback in perspective.
