Following a well-laid plan and sticking to the rulebook keeps things clean and above board. I've found that keeping a regular chatter with the client, and being upfront about any hiccups along the way builds trust. Using the right tools for the job and steering clear of causing any havoc in their systems is crucial. And when the dust settles, going over the findings and handing over a clear, actionable report makes all the difference. It's about leaving them with a roadmap to button up their security, not just a list of problems.
