Authenticity always wins - by helping the candidate avoid any kind of common mistake related to making up a story that is not their own. Anytime you come to an interview with a standardized story, you lose the genuine trait of your compelling story - which is what can really set you apart from the mainstream. Give the recruiter something to remember about you!

It is no mystery that a candidate who has prepared thoroughly about the company gain a competitive advantage. Why that? Well, first off because they have spent time researching and reading about the company, and this is a clear sign of curiosity and interest - always appreciated and never granted. Secondly, because they can ask very on point questions, about the brand's products or culture or any other topic that is relevant to them, allowing for a more in-depth answer from the recruiter.

Typical - and oftentimes dreaded- interview question: what is one of your weaknesses? There is, of course, no right or wrong answer to that question. Every person has their own. However, there are some useful tips to keep in mind: 1. keep it work-related. It is of no interest to the recruiter whether you are absolutely terrible at cooking roasted potatoes! 2. keep it true. Try to really consider an aspect in your usual behaviour that you have been focusing on, or about which you have been discussing with your manager and colleagues. 3. keep it positive. Do not forget to round off your answer with your action plan for improvement! This is, ultimately, the meaning of the question, right?

Asking final questions is a sign of genuine curiosity and interest in the company. Plus, it allows you to know more and more about the work environment and the tasks of your role before having to finally accept, and the more information you receive, the safer it will be for you to decide. Just one last note: questions from the candidate are indeed a must have in a positive interview, but it could work against if too many questions are asked. It would seem as if the interviewer is being interviewed - and it is seldom a nice feeling. So focus on the most relevant ones for you and dive into those!
