As part of its October drop, the free streaming service Tubi released all 7 seasons of Buffy the Vampire Slayer along with a few dozen other shows and movies.

What happens when you cross a creative mind with an old, worn-out movie trope? You get Buffy the Vampire Slayer. And then a streaming service like Tubi comes along and releases all 7 seasons for free right before Halloween.

If you've never watched Buffy the Vampire Slayer, you should do it right now. You can watch the entire series for free, thanks to Tubi's October drop of new shows and movies. Of course, Buffy may not your thing, but that doesn't mean you get left out, because Tubi also dropped a few zosen other shows and movies.

If you're looking for standard October fare, you have an entire list of horror shows and movies to choose from, including Stephen King's iconic Christine or another fan-favorite, Poltergeist. I know What You Did Last Summer, and The Hills Have Eyes are also on that list.

For those who prefer drama to horror, Tubi's newest selections include The Green Mile, The Shawshank Redemption, and House of Gucci. In the Action category, you'll find Gone in 60 Seconds (one of my all-time favorite moves... There's just something about Angelina Joli and Nicholas Cage together that 'clicks' for me), 2012, and The Wrath of Man.

The Black Cinema category got 11 new titles, including A Haunted House 2, I Can Do Bad All By Myself, and two Nutty Professor movies. And for family-friendly choices you can find Jungle 2 Jungle (my kids loved this movie), The Addams Family (2019), and Because of Winn-Dixie.

This just barely scratches the surface of all the new movies and shows coming to Tubi in October. You'll find plenty of romances, documentaries, comedies, and even original offerings like the documentary Famously Haunted: Hollywood (releasing 10/9) or thrillers like Vicious Murder (releasing 10/11) and Surprise 3 (releasing 10/25).

Whatever your favorite streaming fare is, Tubi seems to have you covered. And best of all, they're all free to watch. But really, if you're never seen it, try Buffy the Vampire Slayer. It's iconic for good reason.
