LE MARS — The executive directors of the Plymouth County Historical Museum, Dr. Harry Dunstan and Kay Krekow, resigned from their positions on Oct. 10.

LE MARS — The addition of a fourth railroad track to the Le Mars rail interchange was a success, the Le Mars City Council was told at its Tuesday, Oct. 1, meeting.

REMSEN — Remsen St. Mary’s swept War Eagle Conference rival MMCRU in Tuesday’s volleyball match, but it wasn’t an easy win. The Hawks faced a roller coaster ride, having to rally late in the second set and then having to hang on after building a double digit lead in the third set.

COUNCIL BLUFFS — The Le Mars Community boys golf team had their season come to an end at the Class 4A district meet held at Bent Tree Golf Club on Monday. The Bulldogs finished sixth out of 14 teams as the top three in each district advanced to state.
