Common FEARS about learning Sign Language:

Do any of these sound familiar? You're not alone! Stay tuned for the next email from me.

✓ I'm afraid I'll forget the signs because I don't know anyone to practice with.

✓ I feel worried that I won’t understand a person signing back.

✓ I want to learn Sign Language but I don’t know where to start.

✓ I can't ever follow Sign Language books because they're too unclear. So many arrows and pictures is confusing.

✓ I am worried about fluency. I want my hands to flow while signing.

✓ I feel like I'll be very slow at signing because I am constantly thinking about how to do it.

Student Story: Meredith Bleiler

Speech-Language Pathologist at a pediatric private practice. Enrolled in the Sign Language in 30 Days Online class in April 2017.

"I work with children who have a variety of speech and language disorders.

Some of the children I work with are nonverbal and are receiving early intervention services and others are hard of hearing so and I wanted to learn sign language to connect with them and help them communicate. I knew a few of the basic signs, but I wanted to learn more!

I am already using more signs with my patients than I could before I started the course! I am trying to use the signs I’ve learned during my everyday conversations to get more used to it.

I love that I can always go back and watch the videos to brush up on my signs. We learned A LOT of signs in 30 days, and there is always a chance I’ll forget a sign so I love the lifetime access feature!

  • It was so nice having the course online so I could have access to it no matter where I was.
  • I really liked having the word list so that I could write down notes for myself to help remember all the signs.
  • The way that Adrienne teaches the course and gives you ways to remember each sign is really beneficial. It truly helped me have a way to remember each and every sign even though some of the signs are quite similar.

I would definitely recommend this course! It was easy to follow along with and has given me a wonderful tool I can use with my kiddos. If I can help just one kiddo improve their communication using the signs that I’ve learned, then this course has made a world of difference in that child’s life, and that is priceless!

Adrienne, thank you so much for all your help and support throughout this course! You made it fun and enjoyable learning Sign Language!"
