PCM will face Williamsburg in the opening round of the State Softball Tournament in Fort Dodge on Monday.

The Raiders are 30-12 on the season and the #2 overall seed in Class 3A. Williamsburg averages 6.8 runs per game on offense and gives up 3.5 runs on defense. Junior Taylor Pitlick is leading the Raiders offensive this year with a .358 batting average and has 48 hits on the season. Sophomore Jersey Metz has carried a lot of the workload on the mound this year for the Raiders with 21 wins and a 2.62 ERA. Williamsburg has a .334 team batting average and has a remarkable 223 stolen bases as a team this year.

Monday’s state tournament game between PCM and Williamsburg will start at 7:00 pm and KNIA/KRLS will be broadcasting live.
