Jeff Azarva is a client partner within the physician recruitment practice at Klein Hersh, where he heads the group’s oncology practice. Klein Hersh’s physician recruitment team has a specific focus within clinical development and medical affairs, conducting medical director through CMO/Head of R&D-level executive searches across a wide range of therapeutic disciplines, including oncology, immunology, central nervous system and infectious diseases, and general medicine.
As a member of the physician recruitment team, Jeff’s responsibilities include:
- Partnering with emerging biotech and global pharmaceutical companies on the recruitment of top physician talent in the oncology arena.
Prior to joining Klein Hersh in 2015, Jeff was an attorney at one of the Philadelphia area’s leading corporate immigration law firms, where he helped countless U.S. and multinational corporations, foreign investors, and individual employees achieve complex immigration solutions. Previously, he was a research fellow at a prominent Washington, D.C. think tank, where he researched and published on politics and reform movements in the Middle East. In 2008, he spent four months in Baghdad as a speechwriter and adviser to the commander of U.S. detainee operations in Iraq. Jeff attributes his background as an attorney to his desire and ability to be a trusted advocate for both his candidates and client companies.
