Sacramento Kings fan pack Golden 1 Center for Game 4 watch party
The Sacramento Kings fell to the Golden State Warriors Sunday afternoon 126-125 as thousands of loyal fans watched from a watch party at the Golden 1 Center in Sacramento.Following the Warriors’ win Sunday, the series is tied 2-2. A spokesperson for the Kings said an estimated 10,000 Kings fans filled the arena Sunday for Game 4.“This is amazing. This is the 916,” Spencer Patton said. “These are my people.”With Sacramento in the playoffs, a years-long playoff drought came to an end.Fans, like Shari Wilder, remember that drought well. She said, however, with more than 30 years of commitment to the team, she remembers times in franchise history when the team really shined, too.And that this team is bringing those memories back.“I have not missed watching a game on tv or being here, I want to see them win this series and go on,” she said. “We could watch it at home, but you don't get the camaraderie, It’s just so much more fun when you’ve got all the fans around you. You feel like your friends.”
