Pete Davidson Is Trying to Get His Mom Laid: ‘Someone Needs to Get Up in That’
Well that’s … Thoughtful? Pete Davidson got candid about his mother, Amy Waters Davidson, dating and getting her sexy back —even if the two are under the same roof.
On Thursday, July 18, the comedian, 25, told Queer Eye’s Tan France on an episode of Dressing Funny that he wants his mom to get out on the dating scene. When asked if his mom dates, the Saturday Night Live star replied, “I’m trying to get her to.” The actor continued to open up saying, “I don’t care … Someone should slam her. Seriously, she’s been, like, not with anybody since, like, my dad died. Someone needs to get up in that and get that lady off my back!” Pete continued to say that even if he didn’t approve of his mom’s suitor he would still let her get her fix. “Yeah, I’d be like, ‘Hey that guy’s not cool, but, like, get it in,’” he said.
The comedian admitted that he has been living with his mother following his public breakup from fiancée Ariana Grande. Pete explained to Jimmy Fallon in April that although the two live together, he has his privacy. “I have, like, a basement that’s mine. It’s … like an apartment, so I live underneath her. So, I’m getting a little arcade set up down there. Trying to make it a little … mine.”
The mother-son duo are super close and Pete even told his stand-up audience back in January that he cried to her following his split from Ariana. “It made me see how ugly people can get, and how cool people can be.”
Unfortunately, Pete and his mom lost his father during the September 11 attacks. Pete’s father was a New York City firefighter who died in the line of duty. Pete was only 7 years old. Amy has not dated since the loss of her late husband in 2001.
If you know any men interested in dating the mom of a hilarious comedian who lives at home, feel free to reach out to Pete. Serious inquires only.
