His presence was certainly missed.

The Wales family had a sporty-spice weekend, jam-packed with courtside appearances at both Wimbledon and the European Championship. However, one beloved crew member was noticeably absent from the sporting events: Prince Louis. Here's why the youngest sibling didn't join his family on the outings. When it comes to Wimbledon, Prince William and Kate Middleton have set an age requirement for attending. Both Prince George and Princess Charlotte had to wait until they were 8 years old to be a spectator at the famed tennis tournament—and Louis is just 6 years old.

People also noted that the rules and code of conduct during the matches are very strict and do not allow excessive noise. Failing to abide by these stipulations can result in removal from the All England Lawn Tennis and Croquet Club. On Saturday, Charlotte attended a Wimbledon match alongside Kate, during which the two shared a few smiles and giggles. Princess Charlotte also had the sweetest reaction to her mother receiving a standing ovation during the appearance.

On Sunday, George attended the UEFA European Championship soccer game alongside his father, Prince William, who is the president of the Football Association. In the past, the young prince has attended other soccer games, but only in the last couple of years has he started attending the games that his parents have a special role in. Sometimes, William is tasked with handing out awards and trophies to the winning team. Spain defeated England with a score of 2-1 on Sunday.

Although Louis and Charlotte were not in attendance at the game, the two royals proved that they are still die-hard fans by posing for a photo in their jerseys while watching the match. The Prince and Princess of Wales Instagram account shared the adorable snap, which captured the two sitting side-by-side wearing jerseys embroidered with their names and ages.

"@england, your teamwork, grit and determination were an inspiration to all of us, young and old. Congratulations to Spain. W & C," the captioned the post.
