Sarah Ferguson is ready to add another impressive credit to her resume, and it's a role on Netflix's Bridgerton, no matter how big or small. She's even asked her agent to help get the ball rolling, so there's hope—at least, for IRL royal fans—that she may make an appearance in a future season.

"I've asked my agent to get me on Bridgerton! The set designs are incredible! I could be a long-lost friend for Penelope. I just have to be on Bridgerton!" she told Platinum Magazine (per The Daily Mail).

While Ferguson will have to wait and see if she gets the call from her agent, the royal has revealed that she has been asked on television more than one—just not for a project that she'd be passionate about. "I've been asked to go on I'm A Celebrity... Get Me Out Of Here! hundreds of times, and the answer is always no," the Duchess of York explained. "I'm sure it's lovely for lots of people but not for me!"

This isn't the first time that Ferguson has put her interest in Bridgerton out there. Following the part one premiere of season 3 for the show, the duchess express her interest appearing on the show, too.

“I want to go on Bridgerton,” Ferguson said on a June 7 episode of Good Morning Britain (per Us Weekly). “I think Lady Penelope should have a friend who’s got red hair like me. Don’t you think?” She even took a moment during her daytime appearance to manifest it with help from the show's hosts: “I’m putting it out there!” she said.

Ferguson hasn't appeared in much outside of royal events, but she did have a brief guest spot in Friends back in the '90s, with Kelsey Miller writing in I'll Be There for You: The One About Friends, that Fergie was actually "coaxed into the appearance by her daughters." Her most recent role came in 2022 with Hallmark's movi, An American in Austen, in which she fittingly played "The Duchess."
