Jennifer Lopez and Ben Affleck Shared a Kiss Amid Divorce Rumors, But It Wasn't on the Lips

Jennifer Lopez and Ben Affleck are still experiencing turbulence in their marriage, but are trying their best to keep pleasantries between them. Shortly after being spotted holding hands while attending his daughter Violet's graduation last week, the couple has graduated to kissing each other in public—well, kinda.

Affleck and Lopez were spotted meeting up outside at his son Samuel's basketball game at a YMCA in Santa Monica. Before heading inside, the couple said hello to each other and shared a quick air kiss on the cheek. While heading into the venue, the estranged spouses did not hold hands with each other.

The couple is attempting to keep a united front for their family, though they have recently fallen on hair times in their relationship. Following weeks of divorce rumors, the pop star canceled her This Is Me...Live tour—originally to support her album, This Is Me...Now, which details her romance with Affleck—in order to "be with her children, family and close friends."

Lopez told fans on her OntheJLo website that she was "heartsick and devastated about letting you down. Please know that I wouldn’t do this if I didn’t feel that it was absolutely necessary. Work pressures have also been a contributing factor for Lopez and Affleck's relationship woes, with a source telling Entertainment Tonight that she "has been feeling pressure with all her work commitments and Ben is more chill and doesn't care about Hollywood and the stuff that comes along with it. He feels like ups and downs are part of life and everyone has these moments." Despite feeling "overwhelmed" by co-parenting, his career and being a good partner, Affleck reportedly wants to make it work with Lopez.

"Ben and Jen don't want to get divorced and are saying they won't, but their relationship is simply not working at this point," the source added. "They aren't done yet and want to fix things because they love each other, but they are also both unhappy."
