Jennifer Lopez and Ben Affleck Are Reportedly "Living Separate Lives"

After news broke that Jennifer Lopez and Ben Affleck put their sprawling Beverly Hills abode on the market (who has a spare $65 million lying around?), sources told Entertainment Tonight that the two are "living separate lives." Rumors of marital trouble have been swirling around the couple for weeks, stemming from a drought of public appearances from the usually PDA-happy couple. Even after their real estate situation made headlines, Lopez was spotted with her wedding ring on while out and about in Los Angeles with her daughter, Emme, over the weekend.

"Jen and Ben have been living separate lives but have not officially separated yet," the source shared with ET. "At this point, they are just doing their own thing. They went into their relationship very optimistic and thought things could change, but they haven't."

The insider went on to say that Lopez has been scoping out a new home and that she's leaning on her family as she figures things out with Ben.

"Jen is touring houses and shopping around for her own home," the source finished. "She has been leaning on her mom, sisters, and kids during this transitional period." 

As for Affleck, the reclusive star has similarly been seeking refuge with his tight-knit circle of pals. That includes his Good Will Hunting co-star, Matt Damon. Even though Affleck and Lopez have been seen together, the sightings have been at low-key events, not red carpets. At one point, Ben was seen without his wedding band on.

Leading up to today's reveal, sources shared with ET that Lopez and Affleck were "continuing to take space from each other." Just a few weeks later, additional sources added that the two were "going through some problems." Lopez and Affleck reunited in 2021 and got married in 2022. Of course, they first dated in 2002 and broke up (the first time) in 2004.
