Jennifer Lopez Celebrated Turning 55 in a Plunging Swimsuit

Jennifer Lopez and Ben Affleck may be currently living separate lives, but the multi-hyphenate isn't going to let relationship troubles stop her from celebrating a big milestone.

On Wednesday, Lopez posted a thirst trap on Instagram in honor of her 55th birthday. In the selfie, the singer and actress posed in front of a mirror clad in a plunging white one-piece swimsuit. One hand snapped the photo on her phone while she placed the other behind her head. She yassified the birthday suit with gold accessories including chunky cuff bracelets, hoop earrings, and a pendant necklace. Her caramel hair was pulled into a super high ponytail, and she kept her glam super simple with dewy skin and a subtle smoky eye.

"This Is Me…Now 🎂," she captioned the post referencing her most recent album which debuted earlier this year, along with a movie about her love life through the years.

Earlier this week, Lopez stepped out for a birthday lunch with friends and family in the Hamptons, where she wore the cutest floral two-piece set that included the shortest shorts and a matching long-sleeve crop top. She also commemorated her big day with a Bridgerton—themed party over the weekend with guests, including Sarah Jessica Parker, Lucy Paez, and her mother, Guadalupe Rodríguez, who dressed up in Regency Era garb.

Affleck, however, was not in attendance at any of Lopez's birthday festivities. The two are spending the summer apart as Lopez vacations in the Hamptons and Affleck stays in Los Angeles. A source recently told People that the two are having "deeper" issues than initially reported.

"The idea that Ben thinks Jennifer is too famous and that he didn’t know what he was getting into with the attention on their marriage isn’t true," the insider said. "There are deeper issues."
