After a season of emotional exploration, “Togetherness” Season 1 ended with an unexpected cliffhanger. The foursome brought together by fate and circumstance in the very first episode was under a threat like never before, and we’ve been forced to wait nearly a year to find out what happens next.
Technically, we’re still waiting, but the new trailer for Season 2 makes that wait all the easier.
In the above 90-second spot, Mark Duplass, Amanda Peet, Melanie Lynskey and Steve Zissis return to bring joy, heartbreak and insight to us all. Clocking in at just eight episodes and premiering in early 2015, “Togetherness” was one of those shows that was easy to overlook in favor of the big budget series that debuted over the summer or the hard-hitting dramas that premiered at the end of the year, but it only takes a few seconds for fans to remember why it was still one of the best shows on TV when all was said and done.
