Oppenheimer (2023)
Everyone's talking about the good, so I'm gonna talk about the bad
What I have against this movie :
- in the beginning you as a spectator are just abandoned in the middle of a story without any introduction or exposition, like you're expected to do your homework at home and just after go to see the movie
- for a good majority of time the movie is dragging, in some points is has pointless dialogue and drama
- too many characters and names you don't know nothing about and are too hard to keep counting
- the sex scene was awkward and the nudity seemed really unnecessary
- it seemed like the movie followed to many narrative threads for the majority of time and then struggled to connect them in the last half an hour - thus connecting the loose ends seemed forced at times and since there was little to no character development or study to the majority of the characters, at times they acted, guess what, "out of character". For real, there were like a hundred characters introduced to us only for them to appear for like 1 and a half minutes.
Tenshi no koi (2009)
You just can't get over the horrible plot
Yes, of course teenage prostitution is all rainbows, flowers, and fun! Being a high school student and sleeping around with ugly, old, and fat men definitely doesn't affect your mental health or life whatsoever. There is no internal conflict, no doubt, no regret, no disgust, no shame, no nothing. Bullying and manipulating your virgin classmates into prostitution is clearly one of the best ways to make more friends (and money, of course). Don't worry, you'll be forgiven of everything after you fainted once.
And of course that it is acceptable for a 35-year-old teacher to date a high school student if he has an illness and she is the one pursuing him. Totally fine.
Now, besides the nonsensical, bad behavior glorifying plot, the acting is very bad; either the characters are supposed to act and talk like no real human would ever (especially the females characters here), or the actors are just bad. :)
Gabriel's Inferno: Part One (2020)
It's an abomination
So terrible that it becomes hilarious. Like, for real, everything couldn't be any worse. It looks like it was made by eight year olds with a phone camera and poor imagination
The Witcher (2019)
WTF is with all the high ratings
I don't usually leave written reviews, but men, how disappointed I am!
So, I started watching this show because of all that fuss that was going around it on the internet, people calling it great, the 'next GoT', praising Cavill's amazing performance and stuff like that. And, let me tell you, the show offers none of it!
But instead what it offers is : cheesy and sometimes straight-up cringy lines, horrendous, almost impossible to follow timeline, characters of which you have no idea who or what they exactly are, illogical plot, bad, and by that I mean really bad acting, rushed action, absolutely no character development, bad CGI and the list goes on... The whole show overall it's a big hot mess. You couldn't care less about any character besides Gerald who is such a plain, uninteresting, 'i have such good morals and heart' character. I ended up only watching the show for Henry Cavill hotness, although his acting in this sucks, to be honest. It just sucks.
