Queen Elizabeth (2023)
A Mixed Bag of Comedy and Drama
"Queen Elizabeth" this is a movie with mix of comedy and emotional elements. The direction, background score, and story are all commendable. The lead actors deliver strong performances, and the film explores typical human characteristics humorously, especially in the climax. However, it is marred by unnecessary songs and an average screenplay. The movie fails to explore many other aspects because the story had the potential to change the pace of the movie, but the movie mainly focuses on Naren and Meera Jasmine's characters. And also Sania Babu's acting is weak. Overall, it's a one-time 6.5/10.
The Equalizer 3 (2023)
"Equalizer 3: Action Flick Falls Short"
"Equalizer 3" failed to deliver as an action movie due to its lack of thrilling action sequences. While the direction, cinematography, and background music, editing were commendable, the weak storyline and average screenplay hindered its impact. Despite the actors' strong performances, the excessive drama overshadowed the action. Although the film flowed smoothly without noticeable lags, its failure to provide gripping action scenes left audiences disappointed. Overall the movie is good and watchable but if you are looking for an action this is not the one, the movie i would rate of 5 out of 10.
Jigarthanda DoubleX (2023)
It's a one time watchable flick
When I made the decision to watch this movie, my expectations were high. Unfortunately, the first half left me feeling disappointed as it resembled a messy, pointless gangster film lacking any excitement. Despite this, there were redeeming qualities in the form of a captivating intro and a noteworthy Clint Eastwood tribute scene. The second half of the movie managed to establish a connection with me, although it too lacked a distinct "wow" factor. The background score and songs failed to leave a positive impression, but the actors' performances were a saving grace. While the direction was only deemed okay, the overall assessment leans towards the positive side, marking it as a good film despite its flaws.
