a sketch

For many reasons, only a sketch. Well crafted, direct and precise, interesting as portrait of a time and its rotten high society, about compromises, ugly ones, about abuses against children, few drops of Cosette story and an idealistic lawyer. The acting is beautiful and the atmosphere inspired recreated. Sure, the trial is, unfortunatelly, absent but this miniatural sketch gives exactly what you expect. So, just a real beautiful image of the French beginning of XX century.
