The film started shooting in Saudi Arabia but because of Covid restrictions, the production had to move to Abu Dhabi where it continued shooting under special governmental permits and close supervision.

Over acting 101

Keep it real: bad acting, watching it subbed would add to the drama but in Arabic it's just a s"hity episode of Eastenders at best. A car commercial would have been rejected for this film. From the get go I assumed it would have been a film with at least a mad max feel (takes 8 hours from Riyadh to Abu Dhabi) it didn't live up to expectations and would have rather watched an easy listening black screen to put me to sleep. To make it dramatic they could have added tchkovski or Verdi for the dramatic effect. It's hard to understand how Netflix see this as in the investors benefit. Very w0ke and no content. Time will tell.
