Summer Children

Very 60s flavor to this movie.

The movie was thought long lost but then found in different places and now restored.

One has to wonder why it was restored. There doesn't appear to be anything worthy of such meticulous restoration.

The director only directed this movie and the main actor only made a small handful of films.

Plus, the film is dated and not especially unique.

It reminds me of the look of an Antonioni movie but with American actors.

The movie was never released and you have to wonder why now.

Also, the relatively strong reviews here on IMDb are a mystery.

The movie is not all that good to be honest.

Here's the plot:

A competition erupts between a tormented handsome trust fund baby and his risk taking rival over their feelings for a mysterious and conflicted young beauty throughout a sailing adventure to Catalina Island.
