David J. Hugo Schmitz was born in Cologne, Germany on the 6th. of
August 1993. From the early beginnings he was influenced by his
grandmother who was a well-known actress at that time and his
grandfather, the conductor of Cologne Church Choir. His passion for
music and acting led him to several acting and theatre classes in
school until he got his first appearance on TV in 2008 on Nickleodeon
in a big TV-series. From that point he took his acting more seriously,
found an agency in Cologne and played in several Tv-Series, radio- and
cinema-spots and movies in Germany. His most important projects are the
short-movie "Ausreichend" (2011) by Isa Prahl, the Tv-series "Der
Lehrer" (2012) on RTL and "Bad Trip" a US-thriller by Michael Anton.
Since 2014 David Hugo is represented by Achim Gebauers Agentur Tomorrow
in Berlin. One of David Hugo's dreams is to be part in a movie, where
he could combine his passion for football (since 1999 playing on high
level in Germany) with acting.
