Al LaFleur(I)
- Actor
- Producer
- Writer
After walking out of a grad school program and on the same night auditioning for "Mousetrap", Al landed the lead role of Detective Sergeant Trotter, his first theater role since childhood theater productions of Annie and Peter Pan. He then went on to play Stanley in "Streetcar Named Desire" and Dallas Winston in "The Outsiders" that same year, before landing his first agent and breaking into the world of film. Al is known for his roles of Billy Clanton on "Wild West Chronicles" (InspTV) and as Khan in "A Grunt's Life" (VetTV). Al also recently earned a role as Officer Williams in "The Night Passenger", starring Richard Short, and having premiered at the TCL Chinese Theater; and there is quite a buzz about his upcoming lead role in the dystopian feature film, "The Pipes".
Al has trained with Robert Carnegie at Playhouse West, as well as with Margie Haber, Anthony Meindl, David Rountree, and of course with the greatest teacher of all--the theater. Al's most recent stage appearance was a 4-week run in Los Angeles--the West coast premiere of the original play "Slice"-- with seasoned actor Tom Simmons ( "Mank", "American Crime Story", and "Mixed-ish"). Al LaFleur resides in Los Angeles, CA. A true Midwesterner, Al has roots near Cleveland, OH. He is a die-hard Browns fan and an avid poker player when he can find the time in between also writing, creating, and producing films. His most recent project, on which he served as co-creator and producer, "Pulse", stars Erik Palladino (E.R., Marvelous Mrs. Maisel, Suits), with Jon Schweigart serving as Director of Photography.
