David Sconyers

David Sconyers has over 22 years professional experience as an editor, director, writer, and producer of television and film. His expertise encompasses episodic, documentary, commercial, corporate, and feature productions.
He began his career in collegiate sports while attending The Florida State University. He then traveled around the world applying his editorial and production expertise while working in the cruise industry. After returning to United States David continued working for one of the largest regional PBS affiliates, WFSU-TV, creating weekly programming and expanding his skills to include engineering and workflow design.
In 2002 David began working for The Florida Department of Law Enforcement serving to apply his production skills in any needed capacity to assist in special agent training, criminal investigations, and any special assistance required by local and federal law enforcement agencies.
In 2005 David began working for Key Code Media, one of the top post production re-sellers in the world. As the Director of Technology, David consulted with post-production professionals ranging from individuals to major studios and networks. He helped demonstrate the emerging technologies from manufacturers and designed workflows to best integrate into the client's post production needs.
In 2010, David started working with Sony Pictures Studios in an engineering and consulting capacity that quickly brought him back into an editorial role as an online and creative editor. He helped grow the TV online post production capabilities within Sony and then Colorworks, evolving from a tape based workflow into a file based pipeline and expanding into 4k programming for the emerging consumer market.
In 2016, David began working with Warner Bros Studios Post Production Services as an online/DI editor. He continues to apply his years of expertise to transition clients from their creative ideas into the final master vision that drives the audience's love and passion for their favorite shows and movies.
When not completing the final online edit, David can be found in the creative chair editing projects and bringing them to life.
