Philip Sansom is an award winning British director.
His short films have earned him international recognition and accolades at festivals around the world. The Black Hole has clocked up over 30 million views on YouTube alone and is regularly on the syllabus at film schools and universities alike.
His first TV documentary 'My View' profiled Hall Of Fame drummer, Clem Burke of Blondie and Eurythmics. Commissioned for TV by SKY Arts it was nominated for Best UK Feature at Raindance festival 2019 and Best Director at Copenhagen.
His second feature doc TOPOWA! Never Give Up was made in support of of charity Brass for Africa. Featuring Emmy Award Winner and trumpet virtuoso Wynton Marsalis, the film won Best Music Documentary at Raindance 2020 and Best Documentary Feature at Berlin IFF 2021.
Phil creates his work through his own production company PHIX FILM, based is London.
