Rachel Gauthier is a multi-dimensional aerialist and stunt woman based out of Quebec City, QC. Making her debut on stage at the young age of 5, she was acting and singing in a community musical. Already foreseeing an international career, movement, performance and arts would become her devotion. After practicing gymnastics, fitness training, theatre and singing, she began training in circus arts at age 15, where her first love was fixed trapeze. She also cross-trained in horseback riding and trick riding across Canada, France and USA.
In 2006, Rachel graduated from the world renowned Ecole de Cirque de Quebec where she created her unique Trapeze-Silks act for which she won the Innovative Performance Award at the 2012 Aerial Acrobatics Arts Festival in Denver, CO. From 2010-2013, she competed as an acrobatic fitness athlete and qualified for the Nationals right before embarking with Cavalia's Odysseo. Touring North America for over 2 years, she was part of their aerialist and trick riding team and was featured as a soloist on the aerial hoop.
Most recently, her newest creation Dawn of Life on the aerial hoop was awarded Jury's 1st choice and 2nd place overall winner at the Circus Star USA 2016 talent competition.
Rachel's work also includes shows with Cirque du Soleil, Luna Caballera and MysterAct. Her artistry has benefited to many circus productions, variety shows and corporate events, as well as in films, television and video games. Early 2016 she was on set of xXx 3: The Return of Xander Cage (2017) as a lead stunt double for actress Ruby Rose.
