Jade Kindar-Martin started walking on the wire at the age of 14 with renown Vermont children's circus, Circus Smirkus. In 1992 he attended the Ecole National de Cirque, in Montreal. A year later Jade met 8th generation High-Wire Walker, Rudy Omankowsky jr. and moved to France to attend L'Ecole National des Arts du Cirque and study with Rudy. After completing his training Jade went on to perform his special art of Skywalking, setting records in both London, England, above the Thames and across the Han river in Seoul, South Korea. Jade spent four years performing with Cirque du Soleil as a featured solo artist in La Nouba there he met his wife, Karine Mauffrey an acrobat and gymnast. After leaving Cirque du Soleil, the couple moved to Los Angeles to allow Karine to pursue her career as a Stuntwoman. Jade has also started working in the film industry as Joseph Gordon-Levitt's stunt double on the Bob Zemeckis film, The Walk, as well as having the honor of playing the 9ft.tall blue killer bunny, Bonnie in the Blumhouse production of the popular video game, Five Nights at Freddy's. Recently, Jade has set his wire on fire, inventing FireWire and becoming the first ever to walk, perform and ride a bicycle on a 100ft long cable entirely engulfed in flames.
Jade and Karine now split their time between their 400 year old stone farmhouse in southern France, New Orleans and Los Angeles, where the couple, along with their three children, work as actors and stunt performers.
