Karim Chérif was born in Frankfurt, Germany. After attending the national drama school in Berlin (UdK), he integrated the prestigious national theater in Vienna, Austria (Burgtheater). In 2013 he plays the lead in an episode of the crimes series "Verbrechen", critically acclaimed for his performance, the show got nominated for the Grimme awards that year. from 2015-2021 he plays the co- lead in a private investigator crime show "The Fox"(Die Füchsin). Fluent in french, english and german he works in all these languages.
