Taylor Swindells

Taylor is a multi-instrumentalist, songwriter, music producer and film composer based in Vancouver, Canada. He was born in Toronto, Ontario in 1990 and studied classical piano from an early age. His love for music was reborn in high school through early 2000's indie rock influences which lead him to start his first band The Tourist Company, they toured and showcased across the globe. The pandemic shutdown created space for him to pause and dive into the composing world. His ambient/neo-classical project "Neighborhood Libraries" was started in 2020 and recently signed to Nettwerk Music Group. He now draws on his lifetime spent writing music for film and documentary scores and serves as the director of the Vancouver composing house Track Tailors.
