Brian Medavoy has worked as a theatrical talent manager in Los Angeles, California, since 1990. Emmy award-winning producer and founder of More/Medavoy Mgmt.
Brian Medavoy is a well-established theatrical talent manager who provides actors with support in taking on television and movie projects that they are truly interested in. Brian Medavoy also provides clients with a springboard for developing their own creative ideas into projects for the stage and screen. He is presently working with a client, who has a similar passion for Louis Armstrong in developing a one-man-show that features an evening of song, dance, and storytelling.
Mr. Medavoy's background in talent management extends to the early 1990s. In 1999, he joined with respected peers Evelyn O'Neill and Suzan Bymel in launching Talent Entertainment Group (TEG). Among the projects developed was the PBS series, American High (2000), which followed the intertwined lives of 14 Illinois high school students over the course of a year. The acclaimed production earned him an Emmy award in the category of Outstanding Non-Fiction Program (Reality).
Brian Medavoy has also developed and produced a number of well-received television sitcoms, from Just Shoot Me! (1997) to Dharma & Greg (1997).
