Marina Kuznetsova(1925-1996)

Marina Kuznetsova was one of the most beautiful and elegant women in
Moscow during her time in the 1950s Soviet Union. From 1950s - 1990s
she was a permanent member of the troupe at Moscow Drama Theatre named
after A. S. Pushkin. There Kuznetsova played leading roles in stage
productions under the directorship of Aleksei Dikij, and later under
directorship of Mikhail Tumanov and Boris Ravenskikh. Among
Kuznetsova's stage partners were such actors as Boris Chirkov, Boris Babochkin,
Boris Smirnov, Faina Ranevskaya, Olga Viklandt, Nikolai Petrov, Mikhail Nazvanov and many other notable
Russian actors. Marina Kuznetsova made her film debut as an actress in
Zastava v gorakh (1953). Her best known film role was as Olga Petrovna in
The Safety Match (1954).
