Grand doyenne of the Canadian theatre, best known for her roles in "The Three Sisters" and "The Winter's Tale." Long with the Stratford Festival.

Actress in film, television, and radio; her first love was the stage. Her professional stage debut was in Anton Chekhov's "Three Sisters" in Toronto. The first time she played opposite her future husband, Gordon Pinsent, was in a 1962 production of "The Madwoman of Chaillot". Her final stage appearance was in "Our Town" in February 2006.

Quite active in stage and radio work and living in Toronto, Ontario. (January 2001)
