      She graduated from Waldorf High School of Detroit and was founded and ran an independent production company there while she earned her BFA in theatre from the University of Detroit Mercy in 1989. She then moved to Dallas to attend Southern Methodist University where she earned her MFA in acting in 1991, then to Los Angeles where she worked as an actress and assistant until she married her husband Michael and moved to Monterey area.
