Michelle Gourguet was born on 16 February 1919 in Jours-en-Vaux, Côte-d'Or, France. She was a writer and assistant director, known for Zone frontière (1950), Les premiers outrages (1955) and Le secret d'une mère (1952). She was married to Jean Gourguet. She died on 1 May 2005 in Ballainvilliers, Essonne, France.
