Luisa Espinel was born on 8 December 1892 in Tucson, Arizona, USA. She was an actress. She was married to Charles Kassler. She died on 2 February 1953 in Los Angeles, California, USA.
She published a book of Mexican folk songs in 1946 entitled "Canciones de Mi Padre," dedicated to her father Fred. Linda Ronstadt used the same title in 1987 for her album of mariachi music.
