Composer and songwriter who wrote much special material for Sophie
Tucker and also songs for films. He joined ASCAP in 1927, and his chief
musical collaborators included Nick Kenny and Jack Yellen. His
popular-song compositions include "It Certainly Must Be Love", "It's
All in Fun", "Glad Rag Doll", "Mollie", "Alone in the Rain", "Moaning
for You", "I'm Dreaming", "Sittin' on a Rainbow", "You're Still in My
Heart", "Let's Get Behind the President", and "Mr. Segal, Make It
Legal".
