Composer, songwriter ("Daddy"), and conductor, educated at the
Conservatory of Naples (with a Maestro diploma). He came to the USA in
1910, and toured the country as a conductor of light operas, later
joining a film studio as its music director, and then doing film
composing and arranging. Joining ASCAP in 1930, his other popular-song
compositions and film themes include "Cavalcade", "The White Parade",
"Ah, Love, But a Day", "Should She Forget Me Not", "Heart, My Heart",
and "The Sun Shines Brighter".
