The IFRS Foundation is a not-for-profit, public interest organisation established to develop high-quality, understandable, enforceable and globally accepted accounting and sustainability disclosure standards.
Our Standards are developed by our two standard-setting boards, the International Accounting Standards Board (IASB) and International Sustainability Standards Board (ISSB).
IFRS Accounting Standards are developed by the International Accounting Standards Board (IASB). The IASB is an independent standard-setting body within the IFRS Foundation.
IFRS Accounting Standards are, in effect, a global accounting language—companies in more than 140 jurisdictions are required to use them when reporting on their financial health. The IASB is supported by technical staff and a range of advisory bodies.
IFRS Sustainability Disclosure Standards are developed by the International Sustainability Standards Board (ISSB). The ISSB is an independent standard-setting body within the IFRS Foundation.
IFRS Sustainability Standards are developed to enhance investor-company dialogue so that investors receive decision-useful, globally comparable sustainability-related disclosures that meet their information needs. The ISSB is supported by technical staff and a range of advisory bodies.
The IFRS Foundation is a stimulating and challenging place to work. We have offices in six countries with a total of around 350 staff, drawn from more than 40 nationalities, covering members of the International Accounting Standards Board (IASB) and International Sustainability Standards Board (ISSB) as well as roles in technical, operational and support functions.
Most of our roles are permanent appointments; some are filled on a fixed-term basis; some are undertaken by secondees from national standard-setters, regulators, industry, the accounting profession or other expertise.
Our Trustees, who are responsible for the governance of the Foundation, serve for a renewable term of three years. We also engage in consultation with a number of advisory and consultative groups made up of experts from around the world, and appoint new members to these groups on a regular basis.
See below for current opportunities, including jobs, secondments and fixed-term placements. We also welcome applications for technical roles at all times from suitably qualified and experienced individuals from across the globe.
