In its newest unofficial depth chart, the Washington Commanders listed Olamide Zaccheaus as a starting wide receiver. Sure, there will be a lot of rotation amongst the receivers on a given game day, but Zaccheaus can capitalize significantly on the opportunity he has earned with Washington. Last year was a wasted season for Zaccheaus, hauling in just ten catches on 20 targets in 17 games played. However, in his previous two seasons before making the unfortunate decision to sign in Philadelphia, he had shown to be an ascending player for the Atlanta Falcons.

Zaccheaus’s targets, receptions, yardage, and starts increased every season for the Atlanta Falcons, and at 27 years old, he is in the midst of his prime season as an NFL player. I am not championing Zaccheaus as the next superstar receiver to emerge out of nowhere, to be clear, but it is safe to say the fan base has undermined his skill sets and abilities. I did a scouting report on Zaccheaus before the 2024 free agency period; I shared my findings in the latest Trap or Dive film session.
In my film session below, get to know exactly what Olamide Zaccheaus will bring to the table as a player.
