In the glow of the historic turnaround season in 1999, the Warriors received early commitments from two JC quarterbacks — Jared Flint and Nick Rolovich. But the Warriors were not done. Worse came to worst for the Rainbow Warrior basketball team with the announcement that leading scorer Noel Coleman will miss the rest of the season because of a fractured orbital. Madut, Colina to pursue pro dreams after this season

Two University of Hawaii basketball juniors — guard Junior Madut and center Mate Colina — have decided to pursue pro aspirations and not return for their senior seasons in 2022-23.
