Princess Beatrice’s latest public appearance invokes the style hallmarks of some other fashionable women in the royal family.
During a visit with primary-school students in London organized by the British Skin Foundation earlier this week, Beatrice looked elegant in an easygoing summer outfit that included familiar sartorial elements that royal watchers might associate with Princess Kate and Duchess Meghan.
Beatrice’s polished ensemble involved a white long-sleeved midi dress covered in a dainty pink and green rose pattern all over, as well as a pair of beige ballet flats adorned with a black toe cap and a tiny bow. The royal kept her accessories to a minimum, simply wearing tiny earring huggies and and a gold chain bracelet.
Beatrice’s outfit is reminiscent of some of Kate’s and Meghan’s signature looks. The Princess of Wales, who is currently undergoing treatment for cancer, often steps out for public engagements clad in a pretty floral midi dress. As for the Duchess of Sussex, the California native frequently relies on her trusty pair of two-tone Chanel ballet flats, which Megan even recently wore on a Montecito lunch date last weekend.
Beatrice herself is clearly a fan of floral midi dresses, as indicated by her most recent string of public appearances.
Prior to Tuesday’s school visit, she attended Wimbledon in a similar floral piece. At the time, she wore a lacy white shirtdress that featured splashes of Technicolor floral illustrations in yellow, cobalt blue, coral, and hot pink.
And at the Royal Ascot earlier this summer, Beatrice showed up in two separate floral dresses: a pretty pink Zimmerman piece and a regal green look by Emilia Wickstead.
