Natalie Wild
My backgrounds are the acting profession, painting, tourism and education. I grew up in the county of Kent. I moved to London, first to attend the Chelsea College of Art for one year before changing career direction to take a degree course in Acting at the Central School of Speech and Drama. Almost by natural progression I have become a guide. William Shakespeare wrote that, "All the world's a stage," and I agree whole-heartedly with his sentiments. It is with a love of stories and a taste for adventure that I would like to introduce you to the characters and places that bring history to life. I have a passion for fine art and feel at home in the many galleries where every picture truly has a story waiting to be told. I am equally happy guiding coach parties, individuals, school children and incentive groups. From 2005 I worked as an in house guide at the London Eye and on a Thames cruiser. In 2009 on completion of the Blue Badge course I received the award for 'Best Overall Practical Examinations' from the Association of Professional Tourist Guides. I am a qualified 'English As A Foreign Language' teacher and I also taught poetry and performance for several years prior to becoming a guide. I am widely travelled so have an understanding of the different customs and cultures from around the world. I am adaptable and whilst guiding strive to be both informative and entertaining.
