Laura Adams
A Blue Badge London tourist guide and former professional actress, I am fun, enthusiastic, flexible and organised. I would love to share with you this exciting and colourful city, my adopted home for the past 25 years.
Classically trained, I worked in theatre and television for ten years including roles with the Royal Shakespeare Company and I have toured the country widely. Since then I have combined my role as a drama practitioner and storyteller with raising my daughter and have worked extensively with schoolchildren with special educational needs.
The story of London and its people is fascinating and endless. I love to bring this incredible city alive and to help you get the most out of your visit here.
Alternatively, you might like to travel out of town for the day to discover the delights of Shakespeare's home town Stratford-upon-Avon, the Bath of Jane Austen, the gleaming spires of Oxford or historic Windsor Castle, Queen Elizabeth II's favourite home.
Every group's needs are different and each tour is personally designed for you whether you are a large group or a family. If you have special interests these are warmly welcomed and accommodated and I make every effort to make sure all tours are fully accessible.
I have a particular interest in the history of women and run a blog and podcast about remarkable women past and present, as well as guiding women-themed walks of London.
