Ian Murray
I am a London Blue Badge Guide and qualified in 2005. I am a Member of the Institute of Tourist Guiding and the Driver Guides Association and also of the Association of Professional Tourist Guides (APTG). I studied engineering at Nottingham University and for the main part of my working career was in the Oil Industry, working for Mobil Oil and then latterly ExxonMobil. My interests are in sport - tennis, badminton and motor racing, history, literature and theatre. I also enjoy the outdoor life such as walking, cycling and gardening, and have travelled widely through Europe and around the world. I am married with 2 grown up children and enjoy working with family groups. I have passed the Windsor and Eton accreditation course and particularly enjoy guiding in history and history of royalty in particular.
