I was born in China and had been living in the UK since I was 19. I studies Media in both my BA and MA degrees. Now after over a decade living in the UK, I do feel like I am a combination of two cultures in the best way, by becoming a professional Blue Badge tourist Guide. So I can introduce the best of UK to my country people in a way they can understand and feel comfortable with.
I started to guide since 2008 as a student summer job, it turned into a career. The experience had been amazing, I work with various types of big groups, includes general tourist, cooperate, and business groups, also small VIP groups.
My guiding style is quite relaxed, I like to pass on the information in a interesting way so they can absorb the information instead of being fed to. I will tailor and adopt to the clients needs to deliver the speech to make sure they have a wonderful experience and a big smile by the end of the day.
I am still feeling buzzing and very flattered to be awarded "Best overall for practicals" in my graduation ceremony, and people commented like "She is a joy to listen to constantly."
I treat my job very seriously, I hope I can help to make some wonderful memories of your UK experience.
