Make a Difference in Your Community
- Feeding OC -
No fresh produce should go to waste! Our goal is to work within the Orange County community to gather produce from trees and gardens of individual residents, and deliver them to community kitchens and shelters that can distribute them to those in need.
We use the help of volunteers to fuel our cause. We spend our time working with residents who have trees and gardens that produce more food then they can consume, and identify other nonprofit organizations in the county that distribute fresh food to individuals and organizations.
It's incredibly important that all individuals have access to fresh produce. Eating healthy enhances all aspects of our lives, and everyone should have equal access to fresh produce.
As global citizens, we should focus on how to maximize what we already have at our disposal - the fruit and vegetables grown in your own backyard. How many times have you seen that produce fall and go unused? Let's put it to good use and create less waste together!

Become a Volunteer
How can you help?
Whether you are looking for a weekend activity, or need service hours, we are always welcoming new volunteers! We understand that it can sometimes be difficult to find easy and fun ways to give back to your community. We provide that to our residents through multiple avenues, and welcome everyone to come join in the fun!
Volunteer to become a gleaner: we gather on the weekend and go to Orange County resident homes to pick fruit and vegetables. Learn more on our volunteer page about what that means, and contact us if you would like to participate.

We actively look to partner with organizations around Orange County that deliver food or prepare meals for underserved populations. We want to learn more about what you do, and how we can help supply fresh food to your cause.
